You want to push out more units per minute, but you can’t exactly just stretch your conveyor belt across the warehouse. When you hit that wall, the answer isn’t more hot air. It’s infrared. Why this actually works Think about a traditional oven. It heats the air, and the air heats the dough. That’s a slow process. Quartz IR tubes skip the middleman. They send out electromagnetic radiation that gets the water and fat molecules in your dough vibrating instantly. By using tubes with higher wattage, you can actually shrink your heating zone. The result? You can crank up the belt speed and still get that perfect internal core temperature. The nuts and bolts We build these envelopes out of high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because it can handle the shock of rapid heating and cooling without cracking. Inside, there’s a tungsten filament tuned to the right wavelength. Most of the time, clear quartz is the way to go for maximum penetration, but if you need to shift the spectrum, we can add some coatings. One quick tip on the install:**make sure your connections are tight.**If there’s a gap in the mounting bracket, you’re just leaking heat. That wastes power and makes your cooling fans work way harder than they need to. The trade-off Here’s the catch: more wattage means more speed, but it also means more heat in a small space. If you’re pushing 2000W or more through a compact tube, things get intense. You have to make sure your oven chassis is vented properly. If the air around the tube ends gets too hot, you’ll fry your sockets. It’s all a balancing act. You have to sync your belt speed with the lamp wattage so you don’t end up with a product that’s scorched on top but raw in the middle.
