Material & Design
We wrapped it in a quartz envelope with a halogen fill and a shortwave coating. That coating pushes energy into the right band, improving emissivity and sending more radiant heat onto the product, not the oven walls. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, resisting blackening over time. So it holds its output longer, shift after shift. For the connection, we went with an R7s termination. It’s straightforward, tough, and handles the thermal cycling of rapid on-off duty. It makes for a clean joint that’s easy to service when needed.
